Comparison between a 1L strirred bioreactor and COSBIOS
Continuous fermentations of the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae were carried out in a 1L stirred bioreactor and with COSBIOS. The results are presented in the following figure.
The circles represent results gained with COSBIOS, and the squares represent results generated with the 1L stirred bioreactor. Both results are very similar. The advantages of COSBIOS are obvious, as shown in the following table:
