The operation of the CO₂ sensor is based on the NDIR single-beam dual-wavelength principle. The CO₂ is added to the circulating air in small quantities by means of a magnetic valve. Electronic, fully digital PID control incorporating a microprocessor ensures exact matching of the gas flow and accurately maintains the desired CO₂-value.
